Digital Campus 2015 - WeCode Competition


WeCode
Programme a game or edutainment piece


This is a multi-tiered programming competition among teams of students representing their schools. Students are encouraged to work collaboratively in small groups. Teams must produce an original creation and those who qualify will join an international competition to compete with students from across the globe.

Qualification
Qualifying teams from each National Contest will advance to the DC WeCode International Final Competition to be held in Malaysia on 6th December 2015.


How to participate?
Schools must register participants at the WeCode website by submitting the required documents:
  • Team registration form
  • Parents’ consent form (each member)
  • Registration fees
Currently, only schools that register and participate in the national WeCode competition level will be provided with a username and password to register for the competition. If your school is not a part of the DC WeCode competition, you still can take part in one of our quizzes and stand a chance to win great prizes! Quizzes start from 1st September 2015!

What can you win?

Primary Level (Freshman and Sophomore)
12 award winners will receive:
  • Certificate
  • Medal
  • RM200 cash per team
  • Trophy
  • Tablet
  • RM300 cash for Best Teacher

Secondary Level (Executive, Manager)
  • Certificate
  • Medal
  • RM3,000 cash for top scorers
  • RM500 cash for specific area awards
  • RM500 cash for Best Teacher
  • Note: Prizes are subject to change at any time at the discretion of organizers without prior notice.
